Job Description:
As a Rigging Artist at NAMAGAMES PVT. LTD. you will be responsible for creating sophisticated character and asset rigs that enable smooth and realistic animations within our game projects. Your expertise in rigging will be pivotal in bringing life and movement to our game characters and assets.
Responsibilities:
- Develop high-quality character and asset rigs that facilitate natural and dynamic movement for animation.
- Collaborate closely with animators, modelers, and technical artists to ensure rigs meet the requirements for animation and gameplay.
- Implement skinning and weighting to achieve deformation that supports realistic character movement.
- Optimize rigs and assets to ensure performance and compatibility across various platforms.
- Contribute to the development and documentation of rigging standards and best practices.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in rigging and skinning using software such as Maya, 3ds Max, Blender, or other industry-standard tools.
- Strong portfolio showcasing character and asset rigs relevant to game development.
- Solid understanding of anatomy, kinematics, and deformation principles.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment, communicate technical concepts clearly, and adapt to project requirements.
